Bird Whirligig Plans DXF SVG Laser cut or Scroll saw

A wind powered fantail Whirligig bird. These are the digital plans. See my other listings for the physical kit. A strong wind will drive the turbine, which turns the mechanism to make the bird flap its wings. Inspired by the sweet little Fantails in New Zealand where I grew up. It requires a mounting stick that you will need to attach to a fence post or railing. Only put it out when the sun is shining as water will cause the wood to swell.
I cut these from 3.2mm birch plywood. You will also need M3X12mm stainless steel machine screws, and 6mm dowel or steel rod to mount it on. You can scale the plans if your wood is a different thickness.
